Christmas Community Concert

Students from the YRHS band and choir joined up with members of the Yorkton community band and choir to put on a Christmas concert on Tuesday night. Thanks to Mark Zawerucha, Larry Pearen, Laurene Jemieff, and the many other hands that helped to put the show together. It was a huge success and a beautiful evening putting all in the Christmas mode.
Marching Band Takes to the Streets!

Under the leadership of Mr Zawerucha, members of the band from Melville Comprehensive School, Yorkton Elementary, and the Yorkton Regional High School went to Winnipeg to march in the Grey Cup Parade. The band (about 150 members strong) was the largest marching band formed in the Yorkton area in the last 15 years.
